My practice evolves as a number of questions about changes in modes of living and traces these leave in the environment. What do we collectively think about how and where we live? How do we connect suburban modes of inhabitation with the land we live on? Referential character and contrasting qualities of commonly found materials can reveal an experience of the suburban environment that shows signs of emotional and spiritual connection with the land. I'm interested in ground level and what we do to avoid recognising it.
